Do You Drink Milk and Suffer from Acne?
Do you suffer from acne, or know of anybody who does? It can be a pain, and you spend most of your time trying to find the right medication for it, with little to no results. Acne can be caused by many factors such as hormones, bacteria, stress, etc, and it may be one of those factors or a combinations of those. I decided that I would stop drinking milk (or any other low fat dairy product for that matter) for 30 days. The results were incredible. My skin began to clear and my acne nightmare was gone soon after. I re-introduced milk after 30 days, and my face broke out almost instantly. I also found out that I had been intolerant to dairy the whole time I was drinking it. That is when I made the switch to alternative milks such as almond milk and coconut milk. I also minimized the amount of cheese that I consumed. Other foods that trigger breakouts are those high in processed sugars as well as anything glutenous.
